Most of it is hacked objects that add new interactions/features, but those are in German too so I didn’t look into what they really do. Shaklin’s Sims Page- It’s all in German, and there’s honestly not much on here. I also don’t have as much personal knowledge about them as the other ones, but I still wanted to add them for the sake of having more TS1 stuff in one place. This next section is for websites with fewer downloads, or only run by one creator. Unfortunately since there’s so much stuff, they don’t really include preview images or much detail on the downloads, but I thought it seemed like a pretty notable site for their attempts at preserving old stuff. But this site has dedicated to archiving all the creations of these people as sites & forums have disappeared over that time. I wasn’t really “in” the Sims community during TS1′s heyday, so I don’t actually know that much about people who’ve made content for it over the years.Mainly to make the game easier, like a phone that automatically raises sim relationships while they’re on the lot, a chair that sims can walk through to prevent traffic jams, and of course my personal favorite the object that automatically raise motives. Not simply objects, these are hacked & modded objects that do totally new things.Their themed sets also create brand new ways to envision community lots, with remeshed objects like the Makin Magic duel arena done in fancy white stone, or restaurant objects with a rustic theme. It has tons of variety with clutter deco, medieval, eye-searing neon, fancy luxury, etc. Parsimonious- skins/heads, objects, walls/floors Click on “Les Sims 1″ in the bottom left The skins are mostly Final Fantasy related, but the heads are originals in an anime style.Mostly themed object sets eg mid-century modern, rustic, minimalist, etc.Olena’s Clutter Factory - objects, walls/floors
There’s a huge garden-related section, many deco sculptures & plants, and themed walls/floors including post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, and steampunk.
Many different decorating styles, historical & fantasy/sci-fi themes for both objects & skins, plus quite a lot of skins that aren’t exclusively gothicįerndale Sims - objects, walls/floors, build sets SimFreaks - skins/heads, objects, walls/floors, pets Also lots of great clutter deco, especially for the bathroom & kitchen. Pretty much everything is part of a themed/coordinated set.My favorite window/door set I’ve ever found for TS1 is from this site ( windows/ doors).Īround the Sims 1- skins/heads, objects, walls/floors, build sets The themed object/build sets vary outside of that much more than the skins, with steampunk, carnival, 1950s bowling alley, french quarter, etc. Gothic themed, if the name didn’t tip you off.SirenShadow Sims - skins/heads, objects, walls/floors, build sets Mostly grungy/apocalypse themed object sets, but there’s a few other themes like ancient ruins, city street signage, medieval, etc.The skins are super varied with many historical eras, Asian & African culture, X-Men characters, etc.Sims of the World- skins/heads, objects, walls/floors
This is where that gigantic loch ness monster pet skin comes from, but they also have fox & alligator pet skins! Mostly “alternative” goth/punk, but also has some generally cool skins with new skintones & body shapes, and some pop culture skins like Lady Gaga, Danaerys, Michonne, etc.
Some of these include a mod to allow skilling on community lots, and one that lets you use Buy/Build Mode on community lots.
SimExplorer lets you view & edit objects/textures. This is a single download for a program, but it seems hard to find so I wanted to include it. I wrote each one a summary so you can get an idea of whether you’d consider that specific site useful or not. Most of these I found from other simmers with their own lists, it also helped to see “affiliates” pages on these sites.
